The New Moon occurs at 9° Scorpio on Friday November 1, 2024 at 8:47am in New York, USA. The aspect is a harmonious trine to stabilizing Saturn, aka Big Daddy Karma. Also happening is a tense opposition between aggressive Mars and power hungry Pluto, the God of war facing off with the God of the underworld. Fortunately, intelligent Mercury will be whispering logic into the ears of them both as it trines Mars and sextiles Pluto. A new Moon happens when both the Sun and Moon are zero degrees away from each other occupying the same degree of a sign. New moons are about initiation, beginnings and the new cycle of the moon. Mud will fly but stain the hands of those slinging it. Mercury aspects urge us to stick to the facts and not let unchecked feelings engulf us in flames of anger and hate. Think things through and ask questions to clarify smoldering issues. It is wise to stay calm at let the weak ones rile and unhinge while you watch from a safe space.
