The Full Moon occurs at 16° Libra on Thursday March 6, 2023 at 12:34am in New York. It is the Pink Moon Named by Native Americans after herb moss pink, the first flowers of spring in the eastern US. The full moon heightens emotions and intuition with a need to balance career vs. family and what you want to do vs. what you feel you need to do. Nurturing and the mother architype come into play. It also brings to light the progress of prior projects began under the new moon. The full moon energy lasts for the two weeks approaching the new moon. It is the time to get feedback or present projects publicly.
The aspects to this full moon are a quincunx with alternative Uranus and an opposition to wound-revealer and healer Chiron. The energy of a quincunx is neither difficult nor easy but needs consideration of the energies of the planets involved. In this case, the emotions and intuition of the moon must be considered along with intellectual and alternative ideas of Uranus. Add in the lunar feelings and the recognition past wounds of Chiron and we have a combination that can offer results through intuitive and alternative healing methods. The revealing or reliving of past scars may, for some, be alarming, distressing and upsetting. You may not be ready to, or have on your “to do list”: Review Old Pains. It may be revealed in a shocking way. However, that is mostly for those who are apt to bury things only to have to deal with them later in a crisis. After the initial shock is over, it may take a minute for the lightbulb over your head to light up with a brilliant recognition, but it will happen if you focus on the energies at play. The diagnosis of physical issues can come from the examination of the metaphysical including past lives and vice versa. Unresolved childhood and family issues can manifest in chronic physical discomfort or disease. It is time for a holistic approach and to look beyond the traditional methods in order to see a true, big picture that will nurture you. Chakras, meridians and subtle energy centers as well as electricity and technology can shed light on each other’s blind spots to bring to light a personalized plan for your wellness.
This aspect is politically attributed to rebellion and unrest and can bring to the surface old political wounds, real or imagined, that need healing. Fortunately during this full moon the stabilizing yet conservative presence of Saturn and the talk-it-out communication skills of Mercury are here to help. This aspect offers resolution through communication and the fortification long term plans that will address healing for the whole and not just a part. New laws will be passed to fortify the future. Whose vision of the future is still to be determined. Compromise, compassion and ego-free debate are needed. Are our political leaders capable of this? Are we?
