The New Moon occurs at 4° Virgo on Saturday August 27, 2022 at 4:17am in New York. The aspect it makes is a hard square to Mars in Gemini. New moons begin the lunar phase and are associated with start-up energy. This energy is in power for the next two weeks until the full moon engages. Mars is associated with ego, physical energy, sex, war, anger and aggression. This square will trigger the impatient and aggressive side of Mars. Projects started under this influence are likely to run into opposition. Fasten your seatbelts… This square coincides with another already in progress with Uranus and Saturn, shaking up the traditional with the innovative. This can be seen played out in socio-political arenas globally. Inflamed egos will rage if left unchecked. Mars rules fire, firearms and sharp weapons. Mars in verbal Gemini can blurt out hastily “them fighting words”. De-escalation will be difficult. If you are involved in a potentially combustible situation it will be best to walk away.
